Changing things up: combating profile fading

If you've been on a website for a while, daters will get used to seeing you around. Spice things up by changing your header message and main photo often. Some users change their photos monthly.

Make sure your profiles doesn't say, "This spring I am learning to sail," when it's the season for falling leaves. This leaves other daters wondering if you're on the market still. Either leave seasonal information out of your profile, or update it monthly.

Inactivating your profile for a few weeks may also give you a fresh look. Some sites allow you to hide your profile and then reappear. This along with new photos may help you reach different people.
